Joo Won: More Films in 2014

Joo Won proves to be one of the most in-demand actors to date. After being hailed as PD’s Choice at the recently concluded 2013 KBS Drama Awards, he has been receiving so many casting offers here and there.

Joo Won proves to be one of the most in-demand actors to date. After being hailed as PD’s Choice at the recently concluded 2013 KBS Drama Awards, he has been receiving so many casting offers here and there.

He has just been offered the lead role in the movie ‘Fashion King‘ opposite f(x)‘s Sulli. Recently, he has also been offered another lead role in the movie ‘C’est Si Bon‘ according to a rep from the movie production. However, the confirmation came from his own agency Sim Entertainment when it released a statement via Newsen saying, ” Joo Won  has decided to accept the role in ‘C’est Si Bon’ and is currently working out the details.

Han Hyo Joo, on the other hand, is also reviewing the offer and has the intention to appear in the said film as per her agency BH Entertainment.  A rep from her agency also told Newsen, ” She wants to be part of C’est Si Bon after completing her  Japanese movie under the direction of Inudo Isshin.”

The film is based on a popular music café in Korea during the ’60s and ’70s. The movie will also focus on the singers Song Chang Sik, Lee Chang Hee, Yoon Hyung Joo, and Cho Young Nam who started in the café during their 20s.

Filming will start in May and end in August under J Film with the direction of Kim Hyun Suk. CJ Entertainment will be handling the investment plus distribution.
